Plans for 2017

First, in amazement I apologize for failing to update this section of my site for FIVE years.  Oh well, I have been busy making, exhibiting, and selling art.  Here are my hopes/plans for 2017.

January:  Stay home, make art.

February:  Hope to do a show in Washington, D.C.  Stay tuned. (Update:  Show did not happen this year.  You didn’t miss anything.)

March:  Stay home, make more art.

April:  The first weekend (1, 2; Sat-Sun) I will be in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for the downtown art show formerly known as FestForAll, now Ebb and Flow.  For more information visit http://www.ebbandflowbr.org.

May:  First weekend of May (6, 7; Sat-Sun) A-RTS at the Rockville Town Square, Rockville, Maryland.

June:  First weekend:  Sidewalk Art Show at the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia, June 3, 4.

Second weekend:  I hope to return to the Flint Art Fair in Flint, Michigan for its 50th annual show, June 10, 11, on the grounds of the beautiful Flint Art Museum.

December:  I plan to return to Manhattan for Crafts at the Cathedral, which will be held in the nave of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine (no longer in Synod Hall), November 30 – December 2–Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  The show will also expand to accommodate about 30 more artists than in past years.

Also, in 2017 I am opening a small studio in the Masonic Building (13 West Beverley Street) in Staunton, Virginia, a ten-minute walk from my home, where my main studio is located.  Visits to my downtown studio by appointment only.
